Reasons for blogging

I have been wanting to start a blog for ages, however, it is one of those things that I have put off with the intention of "some day". Some day things have a way of never coming to fruition. Today I decided it was going to be the day to begin my blog. Here I am.

Now, what does one blog about exactly? I suppose there are millions of answers to that question, but from what I can see from the blogs of others it tends to be the things that one is most passionate about in life. Hobbies, important causes, family and special times together, writing for fun or to express a stance on important issues. Some write just for the sake of writing as a creative outlet. Blogs are great things. There can be so many uses for them. As mine develops I wish to share my thoughts and ideas, passions and opinions as well as develop something that can live beyond myself. Perhaps something my children, grandchildren and other extended family and friends can look at to understand better who I am/was when I am no longer here in person. Above all I hope to show the type of person I have become in the 58 years I have been here. Life is all about growth and development. I think one of the most important things is who we become in life as a collective of all our life experiences. Always changing and hopefully becoming better people for those around us.

Some of my topics will be knitting, sewing, photography, drawing and many creative endeavors that keep me going. Thoughts on depression, anxiety and health. My family and friends and the fun, crazy times in life.

As my blog morphs through what has become my magnificent messy mind, hopefully I will become more organized in life. I find that disorganization is one of my main problems. I deal with it on a regular basis, therefore, that is why I have entitled my blog as such. It reflects a goal I really wish to work on in the future.
